Jeff Bland Named Scottish Chef of the Year

The Balmoral in Edinburgh took the premier prize
of the evening - the Scottish Chef of the Year. In the
year when he became the first chef in Scotland to win
a Michelin star at two separate restaurants - the first was for Cameron
House - he beat off a host of star names to the coveted trophy.

Tony Singh ClinchesA Capital Double Tony Singh of
Oloroso in Edinburgh completed an amazing double when he was named
Scottish Restaurant Chef of the Year, following on from winning the New
Restaurant category in 2002.

lifetime contribution. Stewart Cameron (right), former head chef at the

Blairgowrie in Perthshire and Clive Davidson of the Champany Inn in
Linlithgow.

Dundee Hotel Celebrates Victory DoubleChefs from The
Apex Hotel in Dundee took home the city's first-ever awards. First up was
head chef Bruce Price to win the Function Menu Award. He was followed
Barry Fleming who was named Scottish Young Chef of the Year (aged 22-25).
Steve Aikman of the Glasgow Hilton was the Young Chef (under 22) category.
